The Nundle story
Nundle was established at the foot of the Great Dividing Range when gold was discovered at "The Hanging Rock" and nearby Swamp Creek in 1852. The village is a noted tourist destination with a number of attractions and events including the Great Nundle Dog Race (photo) and the Go For Giold Festival every Easter. Visit Wikipedia for more.
